Big news, we're getting started. St James Church in Queensbury have offered us a small operational space to begin running Shed activities. Church trustees have agreed and we're finalising paperwork. The first proper home for Queensbury Shed.

A few of us got out to Leyburn Shed for the day. A friendly welcome, a good look round their workshop and lots of ideas to bring home. Big thanks to the Leyburn lot for hosting.

Tried our hand at stone carving on Tuesday. Prospective members got stuck in. Bit messy, lots of laughs, a couple of decent results to take home.

Headed over to Eldwick for an evening of woodturning. Always good to see a lathe in action and chat with people who know what they're doing.

Spent a couple of days with the folks at Keighley Shed and Phoenix Shed in Halifax. We learned a lot about how an established Shed runs day-to-day, met some lovely people, and came home with a long list of things we want to try.

It's official: Queensbury Shed is now a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation. A small piece of paperwork that took a lot of conversations to get to. Thanks to everyone who helped.
